There were two focus points for today:

• upgrade of the unit system to handle not only distances but other unit families as well (frequencies)
• split the DAD API from the export options API: originally attribute dialogs were used only for exporters but by now DAD evolved to be a GUI feature - the export options API shouldn't be complicated with the fine detauls of DAD
