At the end of each development cycle we'd like to release the code in a stable state. For this to happen, any big change to the existing infrastructure shall be done in the first 1/3 and any new feature shall be added in the first 2/3 of the cycle. This leaves us enough time to get things tested, new bugs reported and fixed before the release.

This usually means I react on bugreports much slower in the first 1/3 of a cycle. But as time passes our focus is slowly shifting to bugfixing, and by the last 1/3, we are effetively in a bugfix-bulldozer-mode. I intentionally used word 'we': lately I get more and more help from other developers with the bugfixes.

The state of the current development cycle can be seen on the timeline
