Hi,

Typo in the url

should be: http://github=2Ecom/erichVK5

I have used translate2geda which worked really well=2E

I will try it on my KiCad pcb file=2E

The PCB file has been generated GerberViewer with all the Through holes as=
VIAs, do I guess I convert all the holes to the correct size manually=2E O=
r yry and manipulate the Netlist=2E

Regards
Derek

Hi,

I have an old PCB project for a 68060 computer board, I used to build
and sell in 2002=2E

In 2002, I only had Schematics in PDF format and the Gerber files in
RS-274-D format, which I have now converted to RS-274-X, with Drill data <=
br>
files=2E

I needed to make some changes to the 4 layer PCB, so I loaded the Gerber <=
br>
files into KiCad 5 Gerber Viewer and saved as a KiCad PCB file=2E

I can load in the KiCad 5 PCB file into PCB-RND and everything looks to <b=
r>
be as expected=2E

I could make the changes required but I have now been given the
Schematic and PCB source data files, which were created in P-CAD v7 or v8<=
br>
I found the old P-CAD v8=2E50 PCB system and have it running in
Virtualbox, so can load up the Schematic editor and have tools to
generate Netlists=2E The PCB editor is Security Dongle protected, so I <br=

doubt I can find a Dongle=2E

The P-CAD Netlist is saved as a binary file, but there are tools to
generate ASCII Netlists, can I import the P-CAD Netlist files into PCB-RND=
?
