Thanks, but cgal is not a suitable candidate: it's not c89, it's C++.
 
I can't use the docs either, because the goal of the poly lib rewrite is 
to have a lib that does exactly the same as the current one does. So it's 
not like I am going to rewrite it from scratch to use a different 
algorithm.
 
Please note: the original email you replied to was about one specific 
request (hardware). I did a lot of research and there was some mailing 
about this earlier, and the conclusion of having to write our own poly lib 
is already reached. We don't need to go and spend more time on rehashing 
that part. Going forward, what we need is time (or funding; I am working 
on that part already) and for the opencl part hardware. Do you have 
hardware matching the request in the original mail you could offer?
