Mentioned it before. For polygons it may be worth take a look at 
https://doc.cgal.org/latest/Manual/packages.html#PartPolygons "2D 
Regularized Boolean Set-Operations" and "2D Boolean Operations on Nef 
Polygons". Or maybe 
https://doc.cgal.org/latest/Manual/packages.html#PartKernels "2D and 3D 
Linear Geometry Kernel" and "2D Circular Geometry Kernel".
