Subject:Re: [pcb-rnd] RFC: project file considerations

Hi all,

since there was no objection for a week, I take the setup described in the
pool nodes won't cause problems for anyone and that's what I implement in
sch-rnd now and pcb-rnd later.

This means some decisions have been made. In accordance with the pool
nodes referenced in the original email, we are going to support 1S, MS and
PR.

For multi-sheet (or multi-board) projects in production I will clearly
recommend PR and will write all documentation accordingly. For simple
single-sheet / single-board projects I will recommend 1S.

MS will work, assuming all files are in the same dir. But I will recommend
the much cleaner PR instead (which is very easy to convert to: you just
need to list your sheet/board files explicitly in the project file).

Best regards,

Igor2
