For lepton/gschem, the final refdes generated depends on the source symbols refdes attribute and what separator you want to use (the default is "/"). I use lepton. You specify what separator you want to use in lepton.conf or lepton-user.conf. I have: [gnetlist.hierarchy] refdes-attribute-separator="" I think gschem uses (hierarchy-uref-separator "") in gnetlistrc. Lepton supports empty attribute values (since version 1.9.17). Thus, in a top sch file, you can have multiple source symbols, pointing to various subsheets, and with "refdes=" they will be in the same refdes namespace. You could possible do the same for nets, but I don't see the point. Regards, /Karl Hammar
