If I'm deep in the "routing groove", I will also have the main app window maximized. However, I also spend a lot of time with the pcb-rnd window "most of the screen" and a lepton-schematic windows "most of the screen" so it's easy to flip back and forth by selecting the window I want active with a mouse click to the left or right. I'm sure there are other ways to handle that, but this "works for my brain". To move a window, left click and drag in the title bar. To resize, left click and move from an edge or a corner. To mazimize, either double click the title bar, or click the maximize button near the right end of the title bar. To un-maximize, click the maximize button again.
