Usually I move pcb-rnd from where it launches since it has no saved window coords that I know of. I drag it to another monitor so the lower right corner is where I want it, then select the upper left corner by hovering then left clicking mouse to drag it where I want. I want windows to have their left top corners in a diagonal line going up to the right so I can lift them up with the mouse. Occasionally I use alt-tab to select windows then lift them to top.
