Hi all,
 
we have an action called "pscalib". It looks totally broken. I plan to 
remove it very soon, unless someone who ever used it stands up and 
explains how exactly he used it, what was the process, what problem it 
solved, why it helped his workflow.
 
(Note: I can read the code, I have an idea about what the code intended to 
do and what a printer calibration is. What I need is not some generic 
feedback and opinion on this topic, but actual user experience with this 
specific pcb-rnd (and geda/pcb) action called pscalib. If it turns out 
nobody really used it in the past 15 years, which I strongly suspect the 
situation is, I will just remove it.)
 
I think this removal will be done on short notice, probably 1..2 days:
 
- this feature is long broken in pcb-rnd
 
- I think it doesn't work in geda/pcb either 
 
- I can't find anything on the web about anyone ever tried to use or 
document it in any way, which suggest it's something nobody ever used
 
- it was added between 2007 and 2008, but there's no trace of any 
documentation or changelog entry
 
- I think it was broken already when it was first added and it never got 
fixed; or more probably: it never got finished. My best bet is that 
someone looked at the HID API, saw there was this calibrate() hook, and 
the ps exporter didn't have it so he thought he would implement it for 
sake of completeness but never really finished it.
