Solaris 7. I have the Sun Workshop 5 cd, but that is try and buy.
I'll see if I can get a licence for it; the point is to compile
under for a diverse set of environment, so installing latest debian 
sparc, or gcc for solaris is pointless.
 
I could possible have a dual boot with a later solaris, but I'll
see if I can solve this first.
 
I'd appreciate if you or someone else tell me whom (like phone number, 
mail address, possible a name) to ask for a licence, since I guess the 
numbers on the cd envelope is out of date.
