Subject: | [pcb-rnd] new: angle preserving poly point move option |
replies: | 4237 from Majenko Technologies <ma...@majenko.co.uk> |
Hi all, the new feature is that if you start moving a polygon point and then press ctrl (it's important to press it _after_ starting the move), the logics how polygon points are moved changes. The abstract wording is that the modified algorithm will grab and move the point _and_ preserve the andle of the two edges of the polygon meeting in that point. This works in a generic manner to any polygon. But the real common use case is with rectangular (or at least rectilinear) polygons where you can more easily modify corners while not messing up the right angles. This feature was user requested. Majenko, please test it! (We are in the cleanup phase, still I had to add this feature to be able to proceed with the crosshair shape removal in time.) Best regards, Igor2
