Could easily reproduce - it was indeed a bug. Fixed in r2626. Please test=
=20
and confirm.
 
(Background: the gui widgets change settings in-memory. The way=20
settings are grouped in the config tree doesn't match the way they are=20
grouped in the preferences' window "user PoV". When you click on any of=20
the save buttons, there's a list of setting names it needs to save.=20
Actually one list per tab. The list for the "general" was simply missing=20
this item. I still see 7 settings on the gui and the list is only 6 items=
=20
long, so I will go and recheck all these lists.)
