I am Tibor 'Igor2' Palinkas, the editor of the Challenge24 Retrospect project. I was a task writer for 5 years between 2010 and 2014. In 2021 I decided to set up this site to share the archives of Challenge24 and to share some insider information we never shared before: source code and data files we used for generating, solving or evaluating solutions on tasks, and stories on how we organized our task writing.
Each blog post covers a single topic. Most blog posts are about one aspect (e.g. the input generator code) for a specific task that went into production on a specific event. Blog posts are tagged accordingly so it is easy to find them by year, by event or by type:
